Looking for a break from your busy routine?
Come and discover our guesthouse, where peace and quiet come naturally!
This cosy and special little corner was originally built in 1930 by Grandma Rosa and Grandpa Francisco. Now thoughtfully renovated, we have preserved its original character and the values that supported this house, as well as the generations who lived here, throughout the years. Owning this family treasure would not make sense to us if we could not have the joy of sharing it.
We hope you feel at home. Welcome to Grandma Rose’s Corner!

You will find everything you need for a convenient and relaxing stay. We know how important the little things are, so we have included all the amenities that might contribute to a peaceful and memorable experience.

A quiet and comfortable working area with a desk, practical chairs, USB adapters and proper lighting. Ideal for staying productive or studying in a calm environment.
Wireless charging pads on each side of the bed, perfect for keeping your devices ready to go. Simple, useful and efficient.

Beyond everything our accomodation offers, its location is also a true highlight. Whether you prefer a dive in the Meimoa river or a hike through the Malcata mountains, the hardest part will be choosing what to do first.
A peaceful riverside spot embraced by nature, perfect for cooling off during hot days or unwinding with a good book under a tree.
A place where water and landscape meet in perfect harmony. Great for walks, family picnics or relaxing near the water.
A symbol of history. Offers stunning views over the village and surrounding countryside. A must-visit for enthusiasts of local heritage.
A natural reserve, home to protected wildlife and plant diversity. Enjoy its fresh air and take your chances of spotting an Iberian lynx.

Our guesthouse is located in Meimoa village, often referred to as Cova da Beira’s Princess.
No matter where you are coming from, it is easy to get here: about 50 minutes from Guarda, 55 minutes from Castelo Branco, 40 minutes from Idanha-a-Nova, and just over an hour from both Serra da Estrela and the Spanish border, where the nearest crossing point (Safurdão) is only 20 minutes away.
